Summer Creativity Camps

The World Chess Hall of Fame offers the following half-day camps for budding artists, chess players, and other creative thinkers—no chess playing experience necessary! Camps are $100 per camper for members of the World Chess Hall of Fame, and $125 for non-members. For more information on becoming a member, please visit our membership page here.

Chess Mix | Ages 8-9 | June 18-22 | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

In just one week, travel through 1500 years of art and culture with a variety of activities and art projects inspired by chess and our current exhibitions! Click here to see a daily schedule and to sign your camper up! Registration in Chess Mix is limited to 12 campers.

Camp Dzama | Ages 10-11 | July 23-27 | 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Spend a week exploring the chess-inspired art of Marcel Dzama in our current exhibition Marcel Dzama: The End Game, and create your own drawings, sculpture, costumes, and collage based on the artist’s diverse body of work!
