June Family Day

Here at the World Chess Hall of Fame, summer kicked off on Saturday, June 2, with our monthly Family Day event. Visitors harnessed the power of the sun by making images on special sunprint paper, then decorated frames to display their creations.

In honor of the beautiful weather and the theme of the project, we took our activity outdoors on the patio. After some fun in the sun, many visitors concluded their visit with a snapshot with our newest addition, the 14 ft. 7 in. World’s Largest Chess Piece!
